Abstract: | The ojectives of this research were to 1) study the effect of problem-based learning on the architectural study. 2) development study of the students’ architectural conceptual design. 3) study the students’ attitude toward the problem-based learning. The purposive sampling consisted of 22 senior students of faculty of architecture during the second semester of the 2013 academic year. Data collecting was done by questionaire, pre-test, post-test and class learning activities. The data were analyze by Growth Score, Percentage (%), Mean (x) and Standard Diviation (S.D.). The results of the study found that : 1) The average gain score of all sampling students was at the 7.64 level of significant. 2) The achievment in architectural learning of the student taught with problem-based learning pointd that the gain score of design solving skill, integrated design idea and problem identification were at the 23.09, 18.64 and 17.45 level of significant. 3) The opinions of the sampling students towards the problem-based learning approach were at the high agreement level at the 3.77 level of significant. |
