Target group was 60 students Hongyun primary school in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. Research tools were interview, and questionnaire. Before the teaching experiment, the researcher used 23 structured questions to target group 60 students, and divided them into 1) experimental group (discovery learning)-discovery and control group (discovery learning)-tradition, with 30 students in each group. The researcher pretested the learning effect of each group before applying, the discovery learning method. Then the students in the experimental group (discovery learning) and the control group (traditional learning) were given test papers to test and score the basic knowledge of mathematics and scores in the first half of the year.
