| Abstract: | เมื่อ 50 ปีที่แล้วสหภาพโซเวียตได้ส่งดาวเทียมขึ้นสู่วงโคจรเป็นครั้งแรก ดาวเทียมมีชื่อว่า สปุทนิท Sputnik 1 ดาวเทียมถูกปล่อยจากสถานีปล่อยจรวดไบโคนู (Baikonur) ที่อยู่ห่างออกไปราว 370 กิโลเมตรจากตัวเมืองในเขตคาซัคสถาน (Kazakhstan) ซึ่งเคยเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของสหภาพโซเวียต คำว่าสปุทนิท (sputnik) ในภาษารัสเซียหมายถึงเพื่อนร่วมกลุ่มหรือสหาย (companion) |
