แนวทางการสอนสถิติสำหรับนักศึกษาปริญญาเอกที่วิชาเอกไม่ใช่สถิติ

Abstract

การวิจัยเรื่องนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์ 2 ข้อ คือ (1) เพื่อสังเคราะห์งานวิจัยเกี่ยวกับเทคนิคการสอนสถิติสำหรับนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก และ (2) เพื่อนำเสนอแนวทางการสอนสถิติที่เหมาะสมสำหรับนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกที่วิชาเอกไม่ใช่สถิติ ตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ บทความวิจัย จำนวน 6 เรื่อง นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอก จำนวน 6 คน และผู้สอนวิชาสถิติในระดับปริญญาเอก จำนวน 3 คน เครื่องมือวิจัยมี 2 ฉบับ คือ แบบบันทึกข้อมูล และ แบบสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก ผู้วิจัยดำเนินการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยตนเองในเดือนพฤษภาคม-มิถุนายน 2565 และวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้การวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า (1) เทคนิคหรือวิธีที่นิยมนำมาใช้สอนสถิติสำหรับนักศึกษาปริญญาเอก มีจำนวน 7 เทคนิค ได้แก่ การสอนโดยใช้กระบวนการกลุ่ม การสอนแบบเน้นมโนทัศน์ การสอนแบบโครงงานรายบุคคล การสอนโดยใช้พหุกรณีศึกษา การให้ข้อมูลป้อนกลับ/ปฏิสัมพันธ์ และการแลกเปลี่ยนเรียนรู้แบบไม่เป็นทางการ (2) แนวทางการสอนสถิติที่เหมาะสมสำหรับนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาเอกที่ไม่ได้เรียนเอกสถิติ คือ การสอนที่มุ่งเน้นให้นักศึกษามีแนวคิดรวบยอดหรือมโนทัศน์ควบคู่ไปกับการฝึกปฏิบัติ The objective of this research was (1) to synthesize research findings regarding on teaching techniques of statistics for doctoral students and (2) to propose an appropriate approach to teaching statistics for doctoral students whose majors are not statistics. Samples consisted of six research articles, six doctoral students, and three Instructors of statistics at doctoral level. The two research instruments were a data record form and an in-depth interview form. Data was collected during May-June 2022 and content analysis was used to analyze the data. The major research findings were as follows: (1) popular teaching techniques of statistics for doctoral students comprise group discussion, Concept-Based Instruction, individualized project, practice, multiple case studies, feedback/interaction, and informal meetings, and (2) the approach of teaching statistics for the doctoral students whose majors are not statistics should focus on teaching concepts along with practice.
