Keerati ChayakulkheereThis research aimed at investigation of students’ learning outcome and satisfaction on the e-Learning system of EEG456 Power System Protection and Relay, Department of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Sripatum University. The objective of research are; investigation and comparison of the student learning outcome in the subject EEG456 Power System Protection and Relay using e-Learning and using e-Learning with Weblog supplementary. The research also includes the study of students’ satisfaction on using e-Learning system and using e-Learning with Weblog supplementary. The data was collected by questionnaires of 57 students from 67 students, as of 85.07%. In addition, the pre-test and post-test of 51 students, 76.12% of total students, were processed. The pre-test and post-test scores indicate that the learning outcome in both using eLearning system case and using e-Learning with Weblog supplementary case result in the higher score after learning processes. Whereas, in the case of using e-Learning with Weblog supplementary case results in the increase of average score slightly higher than the case of using e-Learning. From the analysis of data collection by questionnaires, most of students have high satisfaction in both e-Learning and Weblog. Moreover, the comments from students in the questionnaires provides the suggestion on improving image and sound qualities of the video recorder, the topic arrangement and conformity of e-Learning and Weblog. Keerati ChayakulkheereThis research investigates the current instructional practices and problem of EEG 456 power system protection and relay, Field of Study in Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering. The investigation includes instructional techniques, instructor personality, instructional material and evaluation. The research outcome was used to improve the course instruction and activities. The data were obtained from the questionnaires collected from 30 students who registered the course and there were 27 feedback questionnaires with the return rate of 77.41%. The analysis shown that the students’ satisfactions to the course are high. The most obviously problems were instructional technique and material. Even though the total problem scores of teaching technique and material were shown to be very low, the comment for improving from the students show that the instructional technique and material should be improved by adding more calculation example and practical equipment examples.
