รายการ การศึกษาผลสัมฤทธิ์ทางการเรียนของนักศึกษาชั้นปีที่ 1 สาขาวิชาภาษาอังกฤษ สื่อสารธุรกิจหลักสูตร 2 ปีต่อเนื่อง คณะศิลปศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุมโดยใช้ แบบฝึกหัดเสริมทักษะการแปลภายาอังกฤษ(Sripatum University, 2552) ถิรนันท์ วงศ์วิวัฒน์; Tiranun WongwiwatThe study of “English Learning Achievement of the First-Year Students Majoring in English Business Communication at Sripatum University by Using Exercises to Enhance English Translation Skill” aims 1) to compare the students’ learning achievement in translating from English into Thai before and after using exercises to enhance English translation skill, 2) to compare the students’ learning achievement with the specified criteria (60%), and 3) to study the students’ satisfactory of English learning using exercises to enhance English translation skill. The samples comprised of a class of 17 students enrolling in ENG 203 (Principles of Translation) in the second semester of academic year 2009 at Sripatum University. The experiment followed the one group pretest-posttest design. The experiment instruments consisted of lesson plans, pre-test and post-test, exercises to enhance English translation skill and students’ satisfaction questionnaire. The collected data were analyzed using mean, standard deviation, percentage and One-sample-t-test. The results of this research were as followed: 1. The English learning achievement of the students after using exercises to enhance English translation skill was significantly higher at the level of 0.5. 2. The students using exercises to enhance English translation skill have gained the learning achievement (60%). 3. The students’ overall satisfactory with exercises to enhance English translation skill was in the high level.
