The corpus consisted of 60 discussion sections of four Applied Linguistics journals and 60 discussion sections of four Science and Technology journals during the period 2013-2017. Applied Linguistics journals had 71,576 words in total with an average of 1,193 words whereas Science and Technology journals contained 38,360 words with an average of 639 words. The analysis framework used in this study was Yang and Allison’s (2003) move model. The model consisted of 7 moves and 10 steps. The findings showed some differences in the move structure of Applied Linguistics journals and Science and Technology journals. Both data sets showed the same three obligatory moves-- Move 1 (Background information), Move 2 (Reporting results), Move 4 (Commenting on results)-- and three optional moves-- Move 3 (Summarizing the study), Move 5 (Summarizing the study), Move 6 (Evaluating the study), Move 7 (Deductions from the research).รายการ A STUDY OF ADULTS’ BASIC SOCIAL SKILLS OF FOURTH-YEAR STUDENTS, DEPARTMENT OF JAPANESE FOR BUSINESS COMMUNICATION, SRIPATUM UNIVERSITY(Sripatum University, 2564-10-28) Yasumasa MORIThe purpose of this paper was to clarify the basic social skills of working adults in the fourth-year students of Japanese for Business Communication Department, Sripatum University. A questionnaire survey on the basic social skills of working adults was conducted for 13 fourth-year students who had practical work experience in the second semester of academic year 2020. The basic social skills of working adults were based on three main skills (Action, Thinking and Teamwork) and 12 skill elements proposed by the Ministry of International Trade and Industry in 2006. The questionnaire was closed-ended questions, and divided into two parts: Part 1 was a self-diagnosis by students for 12 skills, and Part 2 was a multiple-choice question that asked which skills were required for practical training. Cronbach’s coefficient alpha was 0.79 for Part 1 and Part 2. In Part 1, there were seven negative evaluations for 12 skills, however, positive evaluations were significantly higher in all the skills. In Part 2, one skill was not chosen, however, two skills were relatively high. Practical training is the best opportunity to acquire basic social skills for working adults, therefore, further practical research is expected in the future from the perspective of human resources education.รายการ At what age should Thai kids start learning English?(มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม, 2548) ศิลป์ ราศรีรายการ Balanced Scorecard สู่การปฏิบัติ(มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม, 2550) กฤษณา สิกขมานรายการ Balanced Scorecard สู่การปฏิบัติ(2555-03-18T13:35:45Z) กฤษณา สิกขมานรายการ Communication Skill (Executive Short Course Training Program)(2562-08-13) Yasumasa Moriรายการ EFFORTS TOWARD INTERNATIONALIZATION IN THAI PRIVATE HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS(Sripatum University, 2562-12-19) Yasumasa MoriThe purposes of this paper are 1) to understand the attitude of Thai private higher education institutions toward internationalization, 2) to clarify current issues through attitude surveys related to internationalization efforts, and 3) to gain a clue to consider on the future internationalization process and progress of Thai private higher education institutions. They were fourth-year students (19 students) who are scheduled to participate in the internship program, and the attitude survey was conducted by a three-part questionnaire. There were 18 valid responses (response rate = 94.74%). The reliability coefficient indicating internal consistency (Cronbach α) was 0.88 (round off the number to two decimal places, the same hereinafter) in Question 2 and 0.87 in Question 3, except for Question 1. The results of 18 valid respondents were analyzed and discussed by descriptive statistics. In conclusion, interest in the internship was very high. Many of the expectations for internship were related to skills and self-understanding, while the most uncertainty was that they were more concerned about their ability to use Japanese communication than whether they could perform their duties or tasks in working place. Based on the discussions of the research results, it was an opportunity to consider guidance contents and methods that meet expectations and minimize anxiety in order to improve and enhance the quality of internship program and Co-operative Education including Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in the future, while strengthening the cooperation system between university (Department), host companies, and participating students.รายการ How Long Will It Take Me...(2555-03-19T15:38:58Z) ไพบูลย์ สุขวิจิตร; Piboon Sukvijitรายการ How Long Will It Take Me...(2550) ไพบูลย์ สุขวิจิตร; Piboon Sukvijitรายการ INTERNSHIP EVALUATION OF THAI STUDENTS MAJORING IN JAPANESE FOR BUSINESS COMMUNICATION BY JAPANESE COMPANIES: A CASE STUDY OF INTERNSHIP PROGRAM IN JAPAN BY SRIPATUM UNIVERSITY(Sriptum University, Bangkok, Thailand, 2563-12-18) Yasumasa MORIThe purpose of this paper was to obtain evaluation of internship students by Japanese companies, to qualitatively review the preparatory education for internship program, and to promote industry-academia partnership as a case study of an internship program in Japan by Department of Japanese for Business Communication, Sripatum University in Thailand.
