The main purpose of this research was to compare the achievement of the two different teaching approaches which are doing in-class exercises and outside-class exercises. Pretest and post-test were designed to determine students' learning achievement. Students were divided into two groups of 80 student each, majoring in Business Computer four Year and Business Computer two Year, and taught by the same teacher with the same content in the Business Computer Systems Project. The pre-test was given to the two groups at the same amount of time of 30 minutes and the post-test was given at the same amount of time as the first test after employing the two approaches.
The data obtained were statistically analyzed by using t-test statistic to find out the difference of the two teaching approaches. As a result, the learning achievement of students from both majors was better significantly (sig. = 0.05) when doing exercises in the classroom than outside, as hypothesized. Mean (X) , and Standard Deviation (SD).
