| dc.description.abstract | This research aims to improve the quality of the original soil in base layer so that it can be reused by mixing with cement. The results of the original soil properties test showed that the gradation and %CBR were within the accepted criteria. The moisture content that produces the maximum density is equal to 6.90%. Then, the soil samples were mixed with cement at the amount of 3, 4 and 5 percent by total mass and tested for Unconfined Compressive Strength (UCS). The linear regression model was built as UCS = 6.23 (% Cement) + 10.51. The prediction of appropriate amount of cement is 1.12% when setting the UCS value to be 17.50 ksc. | th_TH |
