รายการ การประเมินการจัดการเรียนการสอนวิชา ED712 สถิติขั้นสูงสำหรับการวิจัยทางการบริหารการศึกษา(Sripatum University, 2554) สุบิน ยุระรัช; Subin YurarachThe objectives of this evaluation research were (1) to evaluate teaching and learning in the subject “ED712 Advanced Statistics for Research in Educational Administration,” and (2) to give suggestions about the development and improvement of teaching and learning in the subject ED712. The source of data and the key informants were divided into two categories; (1) documents and (2) persons selected by purposive selection technique. Four types of research instruments were included; (1) a data record, (2) an interview form, (3) a questionnaire, and (4) an observation form. This research was conducted within six months and the researcher himself collected data. The descriptive statistics for quantitative data used in this research comprised frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation. As for qualitative data, content analysis and qualitative theme classification method were used. The significant research findings were as follows: 1. The evaluation of context, input, process, and product of teaching and learning in the subject “ED712 Advanced Statistics for Research in Educational Administration” in semester 2/2011 found that all the variables met the acceptable standard. The selected variables for better improvement consisted of (1) input factor; lecturers’ doctorates, lecturers’ teaching experiences, the readiness of course syllabus, teaching plan and teaching document, and teaching material preparation, and (2) process factor; teaching and learning activities, technology use, and interaction between lecturers and students. 2. There were 15 suggestions of teaching and learning in the subject ED712 comprising (1) context factor; three suggestions, (2) input factor; five suggestions, (3) process factor; four suggestions, and (4) product factor; three suggestions. Its three main objectives were (1) to measure the learning outcome of the Ph.D. students majoring in Educational Administration and enrolling the subject “EDA 713 Advanced Statistics for Research in Educational Administration” in Semester 1/2014 by using Concept-Based Instruction (CBI) and Experience-Based Approach (EBA), (2) to compare the effect of CBI and EBA towards the learning outcome of the Ph.D. students, and (3) to evaluate the students’ satisfaction on the teaching and learning of EDA 713. It took six months to conduct this research and the researcher collected data. The descriptive statistics used in this research comprised frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The research findings were as follows: 1. The mean of the posttest scores of the learning outcome of Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) by using CBI was higher than the mean of the pretest scores and also the mean of the posttest scores of the learning outcome of Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) by using EBA was higher than the mean of the pretest scores. 2. The score mean of the learning outcome by using CBI is higher than those by using EBA. 3. The Ph.D. students satisfied the teaching and learning of EDA 713 at a high level. Its three main objectives were (1) to measure the learning achievement in the subject “EDA 713 Advanced Statistics for Research in Educational Administration” in Semester 2/2012, (2) to study the effect of Concept-Based Instruction Method on the learning achievement in EDA 713, and (3) to evaluate the students’ satisfaction on the teaching and learning of EDA 713. The population was ten Ph.D. students registering EDA 713. Two types of research instruments were included; (1) an achievement test, and (2) a questionnaire. This research was conducted within six months and the researcher himself collected data. The descriptive statistics used in this research comprised frequency, percentage, arithmetic mean and standard deviation. The research findings were as follows: 1. The mean of the posttest scores of the learning achievement in the subject EDA713 was higher than the mean of the pretest scores (( =36.80 and =23.60 respectively) and 80% Ph.D. students obtained at least 30 scores or higher for the posttest. These meant the Concept-Based Instruction really effected the learning achievement of EDA 713. 2. Overall, the Ph.D. students satisfied the teaching and learning of EDA 713 at the highest level. As for the aspect which the Ph.D. students satisfied most, it was the characteristics of the lecturers, then the supporting resources for learning, the activities of teaching and learning, and the measurement and evaluation respectively.
