The samples used in the research were Bachelor of Science program students in the field of aviation safety management, 1 6 1 people. This is a quantitative research. Use questionnaires as a research tool. The data were analyzed using frequency and percentage statistics. Assertiveness level data were analyzed by finding the mean, standard deviation. and hypothesis testing using t-test, F-test(ANOVA) at a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that of factors related to assertiveness in front of the class revealed that internal factors affecting the assertiveness of students are: The fact that students are excited, nervous, and embarrassed every time they present their work. or in front of the class In terms of external factors, it was found that the factors affecting assertiveness were The number of people in a class affects assertiveness. and the supporting factor is Being trained in assertiveness has an effect on being assertive in front of the class. Therefore, practicing skills for students to speak often and organizing training or additional activities to learn more or inspiring the importance of assertiveness This will encourage students to be more assertive.
