รายการ A DEVELOPMENT OF PLAY-BASED LEARNING THROUGH SONGS TO IMPROVE CHINESE VOCABULARY ACQUISITION OF KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS IN THAILAND(มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม, 2565) YIQIAN YANGThe objectives of this research were: (1) to investigate how to design an effective teaching method of Play-based Learning through songs to improve Chinese vocabulary acquisition of kindergarten students in Thailand, and (2) to investigate the effectiveness of Play-based Learning through songs to improve Chinese vocabulary acquisition of kindergarten students in Thailand. A quantitative analysis was used in this research. 17 students of K1 from Double Trees International Kindergarten Ratchaphruek campus in Bangkok were divided into two groups, including an experimental group and a control group to participate in this research. Two research instruments were designed to obtain data, including lesson plans and the post-test (the Chinese vocabulary speaking test and the Chinese character matching test). The data was analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test and content analysis. The results of the analyses revealed that (1) students in the experimental group achieved significantly higher scores on the Chinese vocabulary speaking test than students in the control group; and (2) Students' Chinese character matching test scores in the experimental group were higher than the control group, but not significantly. In summary, the final total scores indicate that the experimental group's Chinese vocabulary acquisition which conducted through the use of play-based learning through songs was superior to that of the control group through a traditional method. The findings suggest that this teaching method can effectively improve students' speaking vocabulary. It is recommended that play-based learning is to be employed with young learners when learning a second language.รายการ A Study of Active Learning Activities in Teaching Chinese Vocabulary in Beaconhouse Yamsaard Rangsit School(2563-08-23) Lin Liling; Waraporn ThaimaThe objectives of this research were: 1) to study the active learning activities in kindergarten teaching Chinese vocabulary, and 2) to compare students' achievement in active learning activities before and after teaching Chinese vocabulary. This study included 65 kindergarten students by using cluster sampling from 200 third grade kindergarten students in Beaconhouse Yamsaard Rangsit School. Students learned Chinese vocabulary through multiple active learning activities, and conducted Pre-test and Post test to determine the effectiveness of active learning activities. Data analysis of this research were used mean, standard deviation, percentage,frequency, t-test and the statistical significance to compare the achievement differences between pretest and post-test. The data were collected from 20 students in the Thanompitvittaya primary school. The students’ achievement based on the scores of pre-test and post-test of students.The statistics was used the mean, standard deviation, and P-value was used to compare the students’ achievement before and after teaching Chinese vocabulary. It is helpful to the development of students' interdisciplinary problem solving ability, the cultivation of social responsibility, and the development of core literacy.รายการ Crisis Affects Management Strategies of Administrators in Thai Private Higher Education Institutions: A Case Study of COVID-19 Pandemic(International Journal of Management, Business, and Economics (IJMBE), 2564-05) Yanisa Yanatham; Sirinthorn Sinjindawong; Chari ManisriAccording to the COVID-19 situation that affect Thai private higher education which causing many problems, such as, on-site teaching prohibition, digital working transformation, personnel infection managing, etc. Moreover, the crisis is still on going. Therefore, the administrators must have the strategies to manage the institutions to work among the crisis. The objectives of this research are as follows: 1) to created the strategies of the COVID-19 crisis management in Thai Private Higher Education Institutions, 2) to evaluated the strategies of the COVID-19 crisis management in Thai Private Higher Education Institutions. The exploratory sequential mixed method was utilized. 5 administrators in Thai private higher education institutions were in-depth interviewed. Then, the interview results were analyzed using content analysis to develop a questionnaire for gathering the quantitative data. The questionnaire was distributed and completed by 431 students from Thai private higher education institutions. The statistical methods were used descriptive statistics, average and standard deviation. Afterward, the results from both qualitative and quantitative research were combined to set the strategies of crisis management of COVID-19. In the final regime, these strategies were evaluated by in total of 10 administrators and crisis expertise. The results of this research gave 8 crisis management strategies, which are 1) building team unity, 2) Effective online teaching management, 3) Preventing the spread of COVID-19, 4) Controlling the efficiency and effectiveness of the Working from home, 5) Relief and assistance the remedial measures of COVID-19, 6) Creating communication unity, 7) Internal communicating, and 8) External Communicating.รายการ The development of modern classroom for undergraduate students of Kasem Bundit University, Thailand(The 43rd ASAIHL Thailand Conference: The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning On Wednesday 2nd October 2019, 2562-10-02) Gong Lei, Sirinthorn SinjindawongThis research discusses the importance of classroom environment. Goal of this study is to contribute teacher’s knowledge how classroom environments impact students’ learning. Three objectives of this research are to: 1) study Chinese language learning in both traditional classroom and modern classroom, 2) study students’ learning attendance from traditional classroom and modern classroom, 3) compare students’ achievement from Chinese language learning in traditional classroom and modern classroom. Population are 45 Kasem Bundit University students, sample are 8 students which randomly chosen by sample random sampling. Instruments were used by: paper-based exam, pre-test and post-test. In order to compare the different learning outcome result analyzed by mean and Standard Deviation. The results of the study indicate that students do perceive significant differences between traditional classroom and modern classrooms. Students who study at modern classroom have 16% higher average score than students who study at traditional classroom.รายการ DISCOVERY LEARNING ENHANCE STUDENTS’PERCEPTION OF MATHEMATICS LEARNING IN PRIMARY SCHOOL(มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม, 2565) RUIMIN HUANGThe purposes of this study were: 1) study discover learning enhance students' perception of mathematics learning in Primary School., and 2) to compare students' perception of mathematics learning between traditional learning and discovery learning. Target group was 60 students Hongyun primary school in Kunming, Yunnan Province, China. Research tools were interview, and questionnaire. Before the teaching experiment, the researcher used 23 structured questions to target group 60 students, and divided them into 1) experimental group (discovery learning)-discovery and control group (discovery learning)-tradition, with 30 students in each group. The researcher pretested the learning effect of each group before applying, the discovery learning method. Then the students in the experimental group (discovery learning) and the control group (traditional learning) were given test papers to test and score the basic knowledge of mathematics and scores in the first half of the year. The research was a quantitative research; the participants were primary School grade three students at one of the private primary schools in Thailand. Three teachers were interviewed for preliminary data collection to design the questionnaire.The data gathered then were statistically analyzed by using frequency percentage mean and standard deviation and t-test independent. Results of this research found that significance the effectiveness of Chinese camp for Chinese learning encourage of intercultural teaching at Thai primary school. The main objectives are (1) to investigate how first-year students use their mobile devices as tools in English vocabulary learning, (2) to identify the Mobile devices applications that the students use in English vocabulary acquisition; and finally (3) to compare students’ vocabulary knowledge after using MALL through Pre-test and Post-test. Data for this study were collected by means of various research instruments: Survey questionnaire, face to face interview/assessment, and Pre and Post-test. The primary findings of this research are that MALL has positively influenced students attitude and scores when it comes to English vocabulary acquisition. Mall approach has not only improved their vocabulary knowledge but also motivated students in language learning. In addition to this, the analysis reveals that mobile learning is considered by the participants as a useful way of learning as it is convenient, portable and effective. However, there were also some challenges faced in this study. Disruptions occur consistently and how the school faces the challenges of disruptions depends on the school administrators. The school administrators need to manage the challenges in different ways in the 21st century, the time of hyper-change. Therefore, school administrators should prepare the technology into the disruptive leadership. The involvement of digital transformation and the future of education are the components that lead the school administrator to overcome the disruption and achieve recovery. The purpose of this study is twofold: to study the collaborative activities in Chinese speaking class, and to evaluate students ‘Chinese speaking skill after using collaborative activities in the Chinese speaking class. In teaching experiments, this teaching experiment is based on a review of the literature. This paper selected three collaborative activities for teaching experiments, namely outdoor practice (Chinese interview), business talk (role play) and Chinese tongue twister. Using the results of teaching experiments and classroom observation methods, students' vocabulary learning, grammar learning, and oral expression are used to evaluate whether collaborative activities can help students improve their oral skills in the Chinese as a foreign language. In the discussion section, the paper will also analyze the results of the experiment and the results of classroom observations, and put forward corresponding suggestions for the application of collaborative activities in the classroom of Chinese as a foreign language.รายการ THE GAMIFICATION IN TEACHING ENGLISH TO GRADE 5 STUDENTS OF ST, ROBERTS'S INTERNATIONAL COLLEGE IN BANGKOK,THAILAND(มหาวิทยาลัยศรีปทุม, 2565) FRANCIS GALINDEZThe purposes of this research were to : a) study the pre-test and post test scores of Grade-5 students at St. Robert's International College in their English subjects using Gamification, b) compare the pre-test and post-test scores of Grade-5 students at SRIC in their English subjects using Gamification, and c) study the level of satisfaction of grade 5 students at SRIC after using gamification model in their English subject. The target group was 15 Grade 5 elementary students of St. Robert's International College in the second semester of the academic year 2021,and the research tools were adopted pre-test and post-test, a satisfaction survey, and a self-constructed lesson plan on the implementation of gamification in a language classroom. Three experts checked the content validity of the lesson plan based on the index of item-objective congruence ratings. The data was analyzed using percentage, frequency, means and t-test. The findings of this study showed that a) the average post-test scores of Grade-5 students was mean = 8.70, S.D. = 1.38, and the average score of the pre-test mean = 6.65, S.D. = 2.16, b) the comparison of pre-test and post-test were statistically significant at a level of 0.001 with the level of (p<0.05), thereby accepting the research hypothesis that there is a significant difference in the pre-test and post-test score, and c) there were 13 students or 90% had the most satisfied level and 2 students or 10% had very satisfied level.รายการ The research of using mobile application for teaching Chinese vocabulary in Thailand high school(The 43rd ASAIHL Thailand Conference: The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning On Wednesday 2nd October 2019, 2562-10-02) Wu Haopeng; Kriangkrai SatjaharuthaiThis thematic paper examined the use of the mobile phone Application in Chinese vocabulary learning. The research objectives included: (1) To study the overall attitude of students in Chinese learning; (2) To study results of Chinese vocabulary learning attitude; ( 3) To study the Chinese achievement between before and after using mobile application learning. To research the three objectives, analysis was done across the data collection methods. This paper uses quantitative research, including lesson plans, pre- test, post- test, questionnaires. This paper takes 130 grade 9 students for population and take 100 students. The research finding revealed that: (1) Students think Chinese is important but difficult to learn; ( 2) Students think Chinese vocabulary is the most significant in Chinese learning and need to learn firstly; (3) Students perform better after using mobile Application in learning Chinese. Finally, the paper discuss and recommendation for teaching and learning.
